(After Big Sur and the Pacific Coastal Highway)

Carmel is a small artists’ village/community located in Northern California just beyond the Pacific Coastal highway.
It is home to many accomplished artists and galleries as well as fine restaurants, international cuisine and movie stars.
It is located in
a beautiful, natural setting at the edge of the Pacific ocean. Clint Eastwood was the mayor of the town
at one point. You can read more about it on the Carmel website:

Rip Squeak is a children’s book illustrator and author. To learn more about the artists and their work, you can visit the Rip Squeak gallery/website at: http://www.ripsqueak.com/.

of the same location, at the same time. The one below was taken with a Canon digital,
while the one above was printed from film.
